What skills do you need to deliver value in a Lean enterprise?
The SAFe® Product Owner and SAFe® Product Manager (POPM) course covers the tactical responsibilities of these roles in the Agile Release Train. The course also gives you the guidance and tools you need to work effectively in remote environments with distributed teams.
The SAFe POPM course will teach you how to adopt a customer-centric approach to building products, using Scaled Agile Framework® to deliver more value, faster. Topics covered in this course include the daily role of POs and PMs; collaborating with engineering teams and business stakeholders; how to write epics, features, and stories; and how to design, prioritize, build, test, and deliver products with increased productivity and higher quality.

Prerequisites
The following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification exam:
- Attendees must have completed any SAFe course in the last 2 years or have relevant Product Management experience.
- Read all mandatory articles provided after registration
- Experience working in a SAFe environment
- Experience with Lean, Agile, or other relevant certifications
SAFe® Certification Kit
Attendees who pass the certification exam will receive:
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certificate
- A SAFe 6 Product Owner/Product Manager digital badge to promote your accomplishment online
- A one-year certified membership as a SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, which includes access to the POPM Community of Practice

Annual Renewal
Certificate expires one year from the date the certification is earned.

Certified SAFe Membership ($295/year) – For members who currently hold one or more certifications, and who may benefit from a bundled pricing approach. Renews all certifications provides access to basic and some advanced content and continued access to course learnings and assets.
Exam Details
- Exam name: SAFe® 6 Product Owner/Product Manager Exam
- Exam format: Multiple choice , multiple response
- Exam delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed
- Exam access: Candidates can access to the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of your SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager course.
- Exam duration: Once the exam begins, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete the exam.
- Number of questions: 45
- Passing score – POPM5 = 33 out of 45 (73%)
- Language – English
- Exam cost – First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Students can request a one time two week extension on the 3oth day to take their free exam.
- Retake policy – Each retake attempt costs $50. Second attempt on exam (first retake) can be done immediately after first attempt. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait. Contact support@scaledagile.com for any retake questions.
Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Scrum Education Units (SEUs)
Attendees may be eligible to apply for 15 PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP, PgMP, and PMI-ACP certifications.
Attendees may be eligible to apply for SEUs under category C, toward earning or renewing their CSP through Scrum Alliance.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
If for any reason Agility Whiz cancels a class, all participants will get the full refund.
If after registration a student is unable to attend the class for any reason, Agility Whiz will not be able to provide any refund. However, you will get full credit towards any upcoming classes.
